there are so many things i love about my little boys.
starting off with jude knight:

a. jude is JUST like his dad. he includes everyone in everything. yesterday i was on the phone with jill. jude went into the kitchen, dragged jeff back into the living room and said, "daddy wants to say hi to Gigi" i love this about him. so inclusive.
b. he is FULL of life, energy, excitement... ALL of the time. This is probably why he sleeps like a teenager. 13 hours and night and at least 3-4 hours for nap. and if we wake him before he wakes on his own ... he definitely lets us hear about it.
c. he loves his little brother. jude is ON jake like white on rice. kissing, loving, tackling, tickling, touching, holding etc etc. the memories i don't ever want to forget from this stage are the images in my mind of jude trying to carry jake by holding his head and lifting him. yikes. but hilarious
and of course ... jake saint:
a. Jake is so affectionate. my love bug. his newest thing is giving kisses. he leans forward and makes a mmmmm sound until your lips hit his. presh.
b. he says mama, dada, ut oh, car, and steph. (steph butler taught him the last two) :)
c. he waves. he knows where his nose is. (except he always misses it by an inch), where his mouth is, ears, eyes and belly button. such a fun stage teaching him all sorts of brand new things. how i love this child.
-------
Speaking of savoring the days. Jeff and I speak of the faithfulness of the Lord morning by morning as we wake to a grand sight of the sun rising up over the skyline of our city. Our bedroom windows open up to a full on view of downtown Boston. Our little home sits upon Presentation Hill right at the edge of our city. It has been so fun to sit in bed at night, watching the glistening lights, and talking about the goodness of the Lord ... only to wake in the morning to the orangey tones of the dawn. What a gift. The Lord has been so kind to us over and over again.

and now for pictures ... b/c i don't want to forget all the fun memories of the past two months.
