One highlight in the last few weeks was having Jen Smyer in town to speak at our Vine Retreat! First, let me say that she brought the house down and so many of our 20's and 30's were deeply impacted, stirred to love Jesus more, and envisioned for their futures. AMEN!

Jeff and Jen have been friends for a long long time ... so it was such fun to connect as we stayed up late talking and laughing. hearing about Mr. John Christian, Jesus, social work, and life in Waco. The next morning, Sandra, Steph and I took Jen for brunch at one of my fave little spots in the South End ... the Buttery. Great food, lots of laughter, tears and of course a little shopping afterward! A really fun morning. Love you Jen! and can't wait until you start your PhD program here at Boston College! Seriously!
