New England

One of the great things about living in New England is that in an hour or less you can cross several statelines!

A few nights ago Ron and Lori called and asked us to get a babysitter so we could all go out to dinner. They were talking about how they had never been to Rhode Island ... so ... We hopped in the car and spent the evening in Providence!

A charming city with so much history. We ate at a little grill on one if the canals, sat outside, talked serious, laughed hard, and enjoyed the beauty of a summer night.

A few random pics to set the scene:

Jeff went in and got us Starbucks before we headed out. He wanted us to feel the "Sonic drive-in" experience since we don't have drive-throughs in Boston, so he delivered all the drinks to each of our windows! It was Lovely!

Ron, trying to catch a dove in the city.

Gondola rides on the canal.

A random eat-in trailer in the middle of the city. Jeff had to check it out!

Goode times with our friends!

Oh that the glory of God would be made known in the city of Boston and to the four corners of earth!
